SAMP INTERMEDIATE WIRE DRAWING MACHINE
This machine was bought second hand with obsolete control. We stripped the whole control cabinet with all the old parts and replaced it with all new parts and new SSD-Parker 590P DC drives. To lower the cost, we did not use PLC but instead use the 590P DC drive for logic sequencing and analog reference synchronization between the wiredrawing motor and spooler motor through dancer control. The monitoring of the gear box selection and computation of the corresponding output linear speed for synchronization and display is also done inside the 590P DC drive.
