EURODRAW INTERMEDIATE WIRE DRAWING MACHINE
This project entails upgrading S5 PLC to Siemens S7-300, replacement of RGB monitor with Siemens MP277 HMI and replacement of obsolete analog drives to Parker digital drives. To eliminate the old synchronization boards we link the drives to the PLC through Profibus and made all mathematical computations for the synchronization in the PLC.
For annealing, to be cost effective, we retained the thyristor bank and replaced only the old controller with new Enerpro thyristor controller.
