PIONEER BOW STRANDING MACHINE CONTROL UPGRADE

This machine originally has 2 electrical control cabinets for separate control of the main drive and the take-up using old Taiwanese brand drives.  We replaced all the cabinets with only one electrical control cabinet housing the control for the main drive and take-up using SSD-Parker DC drives and Siemens Logo PLC. All synchronization functions were done in the SSD-Parker DC drive. Additional functions in the traverse control were added to be able to fast forward/reverse the traverse for winding correction and positioning of traverse for the start of winding.
